What kind of acts do you count as “real” sex? A recent article on Jezebel brings up an interesting difference in the attitudes between Americans and the French when it comes to sex. As we all know, in North America oral sex is usually treated as something sexual but it is more like a stop that is on the way to full intercourse. But in France, oral sex is treated just like intercourse. In fact, in a lot of cases it is seen as being a lot more intimate and special than regular intercourse.
It seems like the world can’t stop talking about the new video Anaconda by Nicki Minaj. And we’re not surprised! This song and video are getting a lot of attention for all the right reasons. For one thing, this song is like a new version of Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-a-lot. Only instead of a man talking about women’s butts, this new song has Nicki talking about some of her best hookups and showing off her own beautiful big butt.
The beat brings back memories of the original song and takes us back to a time of high school dances and our first boy-girl parties. If this song doesn’t make you want to get down on the dance floor immediately there might be something wrong with you. Or maybe it’s just our love of dancing and good beats coming through!
What is the key to good sex? There are always certain skills that can come in handy. There are guides for both men and women on how to give your partner the most amount of pleasure with little tips and tricks that work on most people. But when it comes down to it, everyone is different. And that’s why we believe that the most important factor for having good sex is communication!
Communication comes in a lot of different forms. Part of it comes just from paying attention to your partner’s body. If she is moaning and her breathing is getting heavy, chances are that whatever you are doing is working. If she is just laying there and seems bored however, then you should try something else. Noticing those little cues can make a big difference but the most important factor is still talking openly. If you can’t tell your partner what you want, they will never know how to totally please you.
Add this one to the list of interesting sexual facts: a new study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine says that lesbians are more likely to have orgasms during sex than women who are bisexual or heterosexual. The study was open to men and women of all sexual orientations and information was collected from 6,151 people between the ages of 21 and 65. The study then had a subgroup of people who identify as single. They asked the participants to identify their gender, orientation and percentage of time they orgasm with a familiar partner on a scale of 0 to 100. Here’s what they found out.
Unsurprisingly, when they analyzed the mens results the amount of orgasms did not vary widely depending on the man’s sexual orientation. Gay, straight and bisexual all generally have an orgasm rate between 77 and 85% when they have sex. However, for women the numbers had a huge difference based on their sexual orientation!
Have you seen these new hilarious necklaces? They are by the Japanese designer Takayuki Fukusawa. As you can see, they have little people shaped pendants that look like they are about to dive down into the woman’s cleavage. For anyone with big breasts, you know that wearing a long necklace can often end up with the pendant getting stuck between the boobs. That’s why we thought these necklaces were so funny. It takes a common problem and turns it into a funny fashion statement.
For most people, there are very typical things that they find attractive or sexy in a partner. In a woman it could be having long flowing hair, beautiful curves and full lips. And it’s typical for sexy men to be described as “tall, dark and handsome”. But what about the other things that you find sexy about someone? It can be relate to their looks but sometimes, when you are in a relationship, it’s in the little idiosyncrasies of the way they go about their daily life. Like the way that someone makes their coffee or reads the newspaper. I think when you have been together for a long time, like Max and I have been, that is what starts to make your lover even more attractive.
Hello friends! We just got back from a long weekend of camping and fun. If you’ve followed us for a while you know that we love to go camping whenever we get the chance. Living in Montreal is great but sometimes it is a treat to get out of the big city and out into nature. Luckily, Quebec has a lot of area that is all natural, beautiful forests and provincial parks as well as many lakes and streams. There is something we really love about getting away from it all and getting into a more natural environment. It makes us feel like we are connecting with the earth and almost like we are connecting with history – after all, there was a time when “camping” was simply how all of the people around here lived.
There are a lot of sexy shows on television but the original series Masters of Sex might be the smartest show on television too. This program is a fictional account about the real life sex researchers Dr. William H. Masters and Virginia E. Johnson. They followed in the footsteps of Alfred Kinsey and undertook a lot of work to design experiments that would allow them to learn more about how the human body responds to sexual stimulation. It sounds a little bit dry but the stylish landscape of the 1950s paired with the personal relationships of the characters makes it very intriguing. Continue reading
This week’s video really took advantage of our beautiful surroundings. Max and I wanted to create a luscious looking video where you could really enjoy the softness of the afternoon sunshine as it soaked through the window and onto my skin. We have shot all kind of videos but there is always a special quality to those that make use of the daylight as a means of lighting and illumination.
